New Minowa Players announce cast and performance dates for "Two Stories About the Gold Buckskin Whincher"

New Minowa Players and Director Rick Scheffert are pleased to announce a cast of 14 children aged 7-12 for the Children's Show, "Two Stories About The Gold Buckskin Whincher." The show will be performed on October 19, 20 and 21 at 7:00 and October 22 at 2:00 at the New Minowa Players Theatre at 906 South Mill Street in Decorah. "Two Stories About the Gold Buckskin Whincher" is a musical about a magical object, the gold buckskin whincher, and the big changes that happen in the lives of the people who find it because of its magical powers. The script was written by Rick Scheffert, based on a Carl Sandburg story, and the music and lyrics were written by Sheryl Scheffert. The cast members are Aubriana Molokken as The Gold Buckskin Whincher and Silas Baxby, Marlee Klimish-Oblander as Blixie Bimber, Lorenzo Fernandez as Jimmy the Flea and Jason Squiff, Clara Garcia-Prats as James Sixbixdix and Mrs. Bimber, Campbell Tripp as Fritz Axenbax and Mrs. Squiff, Elizabeth Jirak, Charlotte Yu and Archie Weber as the Squiff children, Justice Nelson as Person 1, Charlotte Yu as Person 2. Narrators are: Sanna Dyer, Elizabeth Jirak, Justice Nelson, Abby Rocksvold, Archie Weber, Louis Weber and Charlotte Yu. Members of the chorus are Yannalexi De La Garza and Emmet Olson. The show is directed by Rick Scheffert and Sheryl Scheffert is the musical director.
