Gary's Tractor & Implement Renamed to Premiere Kubota of Waukon

WAUKON -- For more than three decades, Gary's Tractor & Implement has been Waukon's choice dealership for small agricultural tractors, residential mowers, utility vehicles and other Kubota equipment. The team has put their customers first, providing residents from all over Iowa with dependable equipment. While the values of the business are not changing, the name is. Gary's Tractor and Implement is now Premiere Kubota of Waukon. The David family has partnered with the organization because it shares same passion for the industry and offers the same expertise. The shift also allows for Jeff David, the previous owner, to spend more time in the shop, servicing equipment alongside his sons, Jacob and Justin. Jane David will continue to provide office support. Joining in on the family business is Rebekah David, who is in an operations and administrative role. "It is a privilege to join the David family in this venture," says Tom Pittman, newly appointed general manager of Premiere Kubota of Waukon. "We will continue to provide the same level of service to our customers that the David family has provided over the years." Pittman is a Wisconsin native, born into a family of dairy farmers. His professional career spans a variety of companies in milk production and distribution. His specialties include supply chain management, logistics, staff development and operations. "Tom will be a wonderful addition to the team," says Jane David, former Gary's Tractor & Implement owner. "We are excited for the new adventure and the changes to come." Premiere Kubtoa of Waukon is celebrating with a Waukon Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 16. The ceremony will take place at the Kubota shop, located at 727 East Main Street. A Kubota Orange Days celebration will be held on Saturday, May 18 at The Allamakee County Fairgrounds, located at 705 Allamakee St. NW. The event will feature delicious food, opportunities to demo Kubota equipment, games and prized. All are welcome to attend from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
