Every Saturday and Sunday throughout October, the Pinters Pumpkin Patch transforms into a lively destination for families seeking autumn adventures. Since 1998, the Pinter family has provided exceptional landscaping design and installation services throughout Northeast Iowa. Over the years, they have expanded their offerings to include year-round "agri-tainment," with the Pumpkin Patch as a seasonal highlight, gradually growing into a hub for seasonal family outings. Upon entering the Pumpkin Patch, visitors are greeted with a wide array of activities, far beyond simply picking out the perfect pumpkin. Traditional favorites like a corn maze and wagon rides are joined by unique attractions such as blacklight minigolf and homemade Skee-ball. For the adventurous, there are pedal go-karts, a jumping pillow, and big slides, offering something for every age. But the standout experience? The Pumpkin Cannon. Guests can load mini pumpkins into the cannon and fire them at various targets. There has never been a more pumpkin-powerful way to get into the spirit of the season. In addition to the activities, Pinters offers a smorgasbord of seasonal treats. Visitors can savor the taste of fall with fresh apple cider, caramel apples, homemade fudge, donuts, and more from the bakery. For those looking for something savory, the Pumpkin Patch offers freshly grilled burgers and made-to-order wood-fired pizzas, all available to enjoy outdoors amidst the excitement. When asked about the importance of events like these, one volunteer simply replied, "It's about community."
