Search Warrant Uncovers Drugs, Child Safety Hazards in Winneshiek County Home

The following arrests were reported by The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office on Monday, December 2. On November 27, 2024, around 6:40 p.m. the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 2286 State Highway 9 in Winneshiek County. As a result of this search warrant, seven subjects were located, arrested, and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail. An additional subject (Ckaiden Nelson-Coonradt) was charged but already incarcerated in the Winneshiek County Jail. According to the criminal complaint, located in the basement of the residence was approximately two pounds of marijuana and various THC products. Near the drugs were a child's sippy cup and children's toys on the floor. Several children were also found inside the residence at the time of the search. The following individuals were arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail: CKAIDEN NELSON-COONRADT (21) of Elmore, Minnesota, was charged with Class D Felony intent to distribute marijuana under 50kg ZACHARY SORENSON (31) of Decorah, Iowa, was charged with Class D Felony Failure to affix drug tax stamp, Class D Felony Intent to distribute marijuana under 50 kg, Aggravated Misdemeanor Child Endangerment and Serious Misdemeanor Gathering where marijuana is used. ASHLEIGH SORENSON (29) of Decorah, Iowa, was charged with Serious Misdemeanor Possession of a controlled substance-marijuana 1st. DEVAN FORBES (26) of Manchester, Iowa, was charged with Serious Misdemeanor Possession of a controlled substance-marijuana 1st. LUKE PRICE (26) of Decorah, Iowa, was charged with Serious Misdemeanor Possession of a controlled substance-marijuana 1st. LEXUS SIX (36) of Decorah, Iowa, was charged with Serious Misdemeanor Possession of a controlled substance-marijuana 1st. TYLER DOZARK (25) of Decorah, Iowa, was charged with Serious Misdemeanor Possession of a controlled substance-marijuana 1st. JACOB WILLITTS (28) of New Hampton, Iowa, was charged with Class D Felony Possession of a controlled substance 3rd/subsequent. This case remains under investigation with additional search warrants, arrests, and charges pending. A separate investigation into Nelson-Coonradt uncovered his involvement in distributing Schedule I controlled substances in Winneshiek County. On the same day the search warrent was executed, at around 1:45 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on Nelson-Coonradt and his passenger, TYLER JAMES WESTCOTT, 26, of West Union, Iowa in Calmar, Iowa. During the stop, marijuana and paraphernalia were located on both individuals along with some cash. In the vehicle, a dark-colored suitcase and black bag were discovered containing over 300 grams of marijuana bud, 200 grams of THC wax, and over 100 THC disposable cartridges.
