Rejecting life-hacks and quick fixes, she explores why the relentless pressure to do more persists and offers a fresh perspective on how we spend our energy. With warmth and insight, Making Time invites readers to reclaim meaning in their daily lives and tune into their inspiration amid the noise of the modern world. Bowler, a former magazine editor and university creative writing professor, is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of imagination, which she sees as both a spiritual and political force. A Canadian now living in Iowa with her American husband and their daughter, Bowler brings warmth and humor to her work as a certified life coach, Enneagram applications professional and spiritual director. With advanced degrees from Yale University and the University of Minnesota, she blends insights from neurobiology, positive psychology, philosophy, craft theory and contemplative practice to help clients unlock their creative potential.
