Decorah Protesters to Gather for "Hands-Off!" Rally Addressing Key Policy Issues

DECORAH — Local members of the "Indivisible" movement will hold a "Hands Off!" rally on Saturday, April 5, at Mary Christopher Park on East Water Street in Decorah from noon-1:30 p.m. The event is being promoted as a "Hands-On Call to Action," encouraging civic engagement. The rally is one of many similar events happening across the country, organized in response to recent federal policies and legislative actions. Organizers say the event will feature speakers addressing a range of topics, including veterans' issues, Social Security and Medicare, environmental protections, public lands, agriculture, science and education. Attendees are encouraged to bring signs and learn about ways to take further action on these issues.
