DECORAH — A months-long drug investigation culminated in the arrest of eight individuals early Thursday morning, following the execution of five coordinated search warrants at residences across Decorah and surrounding areas in Winneshiek County. At approximately 7:00 a.m. on April 4, the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office, with assistance from the Decorah Police Department, the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Iowa Department of Human Services, carried out a large-scale operation targeting illegal drug activity. Evidence suggests Kelty actively sponsored and promoted such gatherings with the intent to further illegal drug activity.
