Luther College to Host Annual Donor Recognition and Appreciation Event on May 10

DECORAH, Iowa — Each year, Luther College gathers to celebrate the generosity and commitment of the donors who help make a Luther education possible. This year's Donor Recognition and Appreciation Event will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the Peace Dining Room on campus, and all qualifying donors are warmly invited to attend. Hosted by President Bradley M. Chamberlain, the event will honor members of the President's Council, Legacy Trust, and Heritage Club—three groups whose philanthropy plays a vital role in the life of the college. The day's events include: • 12:30–1:00 p.m. | Registration and Welcome Reception Guests will be greeted with hearty hors d'oeuvres and a warm welcome from Luther student hosts and fellow supporters. • 1:00–4:30 p.m. | Donor Recognition and Appreciation Program The formal program will feature a conversation with President Chamberlain, reflections from students, and recognition of new Life Members of the President's Council, newly established Legacy Trust scholarships, and new Heritage Club members. Recognition Societies: • President's Council: Donors who contribute $1,500 or more annually, or who have achieved Life Member status through cumulative gifts of $100,000 or more. • Legacy Trust: Luther's scholarship recognition society. • Heritage Club: Donors who have included Luther in their estate or planned giving.
