Kelty Case Moves Forward: Arraignment Set for May 6 in Decorah

WINNESHIEK COUNTY, Iowa—The Iowa District Court for Winneshiek County has approved the filing of trial information in the case of State of Iowa vs. Marissa Michelle Kelty (Criminal Cause No. FECR021488), officially moving the case forward in the judicial process. According to court documents, Kelty is ordered to appear in person for arraignment at the Winneshiek County Courthouse in Decorah on May 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Failure to appear may result in the issuance of an arrest warrant. However, the court has noted that Kelty may waive personal appearance by filing a written arraignment, in accordance with Iowa Criminal Procedure Rules 2.8(1) and 2.37—Form 6, prior to the scheduled court date.
