Drug Bust Leads to Felony Charges, Ongoing Investigation

On May 29, Following an investigation by the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office, at around 9:30 p.m., the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 705 Ridgewood Drive in Decorah. As a result of this search warrant two subjects were arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail. ZADEN L. SEURFERLING (18) of Decorah was charged with: C Felony Controlled Substance Violation (Cocaine) D Felony Controlled Substance Violation (Marijuana) D Felony Failure to Affix Drug Stamp – 2 Counts Simple Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia TYLER LANGE (19) of Decorah was charged with: C Felony Controlled Substance Violation (Cocaine) D Felony Controlled Substance Violation (Marijuana) D Felony Failure to Affix Drug Stamp – 2 Counts Simple Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia According to the official criminal complaint obtained by DecorahNews.com, Both Seuferling and Lange were present at the time of the search. During the search, a large amount of marijuana, THC cartridges, suspected psilocybin mushrooms and cocaine was found. The marijuana and cocaine field tested positive. Other items collected, including written ledgers, baggies, scales and money indicates that Zaden Seuferling and Tyler Lange likely also sold the substances found during the search. The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Decorah Police Department and the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office.
