DECORAH — The public is invited to "drive-thru" for an easy supper on Tuesday, June 17, at the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds during the annual Chamber Ag Meal. The Winneshiek County Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee will serve meals from 4 to 7 p.m., with support from local dairy and beef royalty. Guests should enter the fairgrounds at the east end of Water Street. Attendees can choose a steak sandwich or cheeseburger prepared by the Winneshiek County Cattlemen, along with a shake from the Winneshiek Dairy Promoters' Moo Mobile. Shake flavors include chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. All proceeds support the Chamber's Winneshiek County agriculture scholarships for graduating high school seniors pursuing college degrees in agriculture, as well as Herdsmanship Awards at the Winneshiek County Fair. These awards recognize excellence in animal care and cleanliness outside of the show ring. Meal prices are $10 for a steak sandwich, $8 for a cheeseburger and $4 for a shake. Cash payment is preferred.
