DECORAH — Winneshiek County 4-H hosted Static Judging Day on Wednesday, July 2, in preparation for the 2025 Winneshiek County Fair. During the event, judges evaluated 351 4-H exhibits, 80 Clover Kid exhibits and five pet show entries. Special contests—including Bucket of Junk, Bucket of Tall Corn, Upcycle Flower Planter, and Iowa Cut Out—were also judged, with first, second and third place entries awarded. Forty-five 4-H exhibits were selected to advance to the 2025 Iowa State Fair, where they will be on display Aug. 7–17 in the 4-H Exhibits Building. Youth advanced to the Iowa State Fair in the following project areas: agriculture and natural resources, creative arts, family and consumer science, personal development, and science, engineering and technology.
