OSSIAN, Iowa — The city of Ossian is preparing to celebrate a major milestone as it marks its 175th anniversary with a community-wide celebration August 8–10, 2025. Hosted by the Ossian Crown Club, the three-day event will honor the town's rich history. Residents and visitors can look forward to a festive block party and community picnic, complete with live music and entertainment throughout the weekend. Children will enjoy a variety of activities including inflatables, face painting, balloon artists, and chalk art, while the whole family can take part in the 5K run/walk or enjoy browsing the vendor fair and sampling food truck fare.
