Decorah Public Library and BMO announce Financial Planning for Retirement Program

DECORAH — Decorah Public Library and BMO will host a free presentation on financial planning for retirement at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, in the library's lower-level meeting room. Planning for retirement can be a complicated and overwhelming process. BMO financial advisors will lead an informative program designed to provide participants with tools and information to start planning for the future. The presentation is part of BMO's Financial Literacy Program, which aims to empower individuals with the knowledge to make confident financial decisions. Presenters will be DeAnne Krull and Elizabeth Hoeltzle. Krull is a financial advisor with BMO Investment Services Wealth Division and has more than 34 years of experience in the financial industry. Her role allows her to meet with clients to discuss their current financial situations and future goals and to help create a plan to achieve them. Hoeltzle is branch manager with BMO Bank N.A. in Decorah and has been with the branch for more than 12 years. She previously worked in hospitality, management and retail, and now focuses on helping customers grow and succeed in their personal and business finances. The event is free and open to the public.
