Brickl Bros. Donates Crew to Support Aase Haugen Homes Move to New Campus

Inc. of West Salem, Wisconsin, for an extraordinary donation of time, labor and expertise during the transition to Aase Haugen's new campus on Highland Drive. Brickl Bros., the general contractor for the new Aase Haugen Homes project, donated a crew of 15 employees to assist with the move from the Ohio Street location. Over the course of the day, the team carefully loaded and transported equipment that could be moved in advance and placed it directly into permanent locations in the new building. "Our relationship with Brickl Bros. has been truly superior," said Sam Boeke, executive director of Aase Haugen Homes. "Their work is high quality, they stayed on budget and they kept to the timeline—which is almost unheard of in this day and age. Their willingness to donate staff to help with our move speaks volumes about their commitment and character." Aase Haugen Homes also values its strong regional partnerships, including connections to the La Crosse area. Medical Director Dr. Matthew Weitzen is part of the Gundersen (now Emplify) Health System clinic in Decorah, further strengthening collaborative care for residents. Aase Haugen Homes serves residents from across the tri-state region, offering a full continuum of care. Services include long-term care, specialized memory care through the Center for Cognitive Development and Innovation, assisted living, independent living at Nabotunet and Vennehjem, and skilled nursing care focused on recovery with the goal of returning home.
