HSNEI Wellness Clinic Offers Affordable Medical Care to Tri-State Pet Owners

DECORAH — The Humane Society of Northeast Iowa is scheduling January and February appointments for its new low-cost wellness clinic, offering veterinary care to pet owners in northeast Iowa, southeast Minnesota and southwest Wisconsin. The clinic provides exams, vaccinations, preventative care, spay/neuter surgeries and treatment for acute and chronic conditions. HSNEI also offers free annual vaccines for all pet owners at its Decorah clinic and at community clinics across its five-county service area, along with affordable spay/neuter services and a community cat package that includes surgery, vaccinations and ear tipping. "The opening of the HSNEI Wellness Clinic reflects our commitment to increasing access to veterinary care for pets who might otherwise go without it," said Dr. Christina Karels, HSNEI medical director. "Our goal is to complement local veterinary practices by supporting pet owners who face financial or logistical barriers to care."
