WinnMed Welcomes First Baby of 2026

Kieren Oliver McIntyre-Fosaaen was born Jan. 1 at 3:19 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 20 inches long. Parents Kendra Rose Fosaaen and Michael McIntyre of Cresco welcomed their son on New Year's Day. As WinnMed marks the start of the new year, the organization is also reflecting on a busy 2025 for its obstetrics unit. During the year, the unit celebrated several milestones, including: Total babies delivered: 233 Boys: 110 Girls: 123 Most popular boy's name: Oliver Most popular girl's name: Olivia Most popular birth date: April 22, 2025 "This has truly been a remarkable year for our OB unit," said Brianne Leikvold, RN, BSN, director of obstetrics at WinnMed. "Our newly renovated space has transformed the way we care for families, enhancing comfort, safety and the overall patient experience. Thanks to the dedication of our staff, we've been able to provide the highest level of care, reflecting our commitment to supporting families during some of life's most meaningful milestones."
