Iowa State Extension to Host Planning, Zoning Workshop in Winneshiek County April 1

WINNESHEIK COUNTY - Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Community and Economic Development (CED) is offering Introduction to Planning and Zoning for Local Officials, a three-hour, in-person workshop available at locations across Iowa this spring. This workshop is designed for local elected officials, planning and zoning commission members, boards of adjustment, clerks, and community leaders who are involved in land-use decisions. Participants gain a clearer understanding of planning and zoning processes that affect development patterns, business development, farmland, and access to public spaces, with practical examples drawn from real local situations.
