2026 High School Mock Trial Championship to Televise on MC22

DES MOINES, Iowa — Mediacom's local programming channel, MC22, will televise the Iowa High School Mock Trial Championship for those unable to attend in-person. Mediacom subscribers can watch the coverage beginning Monday, April 6, at 7 p.m. The state championship takes place Wednesday, April 1, at the Judicial Branch Building in Des Moines. Mock trial introduces students to the legal system through an academic competition. Teams study a legal case and present both sides before a panel of volunteer lawyers and judges. They are judged on trial performance, sportsmanship, civility, courtroom decorum and professionalism. MC22 is available to all Mediacom television subscribers across Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and other states. The channel can be found on cable channels 822, 722, or 22. Replays of the championship will continue throughout April. TV schedules are posted at mc22.net/tv-listings, and all Mediacom subscribers, including internet-only customers, can watch online at watchmc22.vhx.tv/browse.
