WinnMed Auxiliary Announces Bowling League Winners; Seeks Participants for Next Season

The league met weekly at King Pin in Decorah and donated a portion of league fees to the WinnMed Auxiliary, totaling more than $1,400 in contributions. Winners of the 2025-26 season included: Top team: Fractures Second place: Baid Aides Third place: Stretchers Top scratch game by team: Bones — 641 Fractures — 612 Band Aides — 582 Top handicap game by team: Band Aides — 840 Bones — 832 Fractures — 826 Top scratch game by individual: Marilyn Winger — 210 Theresa Hudecek — 200 Deb Larson and Terry Logsdon — 193 Top handicap game by individual: Marilyn Winger — 252 Deb Larson — 246 Diane Tesmer — 244 The Red Smock Wednesdays league is a non-sanctioned league open to women bowlers of all skill levels and ages, from novice to advanced. Participants may join by forming a new team or be placed on an existing team by coordinators. Substitute bowlers are also needed. The 2026-27 season begins in September at King Pin in Decorah, though bowlers may join at any time. The season concludes in the spring. Cost is $12 per bowler per week, including $10 for bowling fees and $2 for the WinnMed Auxiliary. Proceeds from Auxiliary fundraisers support WinnMed through program and equipment funding, as well as the Auxiliary Health Care Career Scholarship.
