Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements Winneshiek County (Festina) SEH No. WISHK 159244 Notice is hereby given that the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing on the plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements Project at a Board of Supervisors meeting on August 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at the Winneshiek County Courthouse Annex, Decorah, Iowa. Any interested person may appear and file objections to the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract or estimated cost. After hearing objections, the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors shall, by resolution, enter its decision on the plans and specifications. Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids will be received by the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors until 10:00 a.m., on August 17, 2023 at the Winneshiek County Courthouse Auditor's Office. Bids will then be taken to the Winneshiek County Courthouse Annex building where they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements Project. On August 21, 2023 at 10:15 a.m., at the Winneshiek County Courthouse Annex building, the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors shall consider the construction bids received and either award a contract, reject all bids, or adjourn action thereon to a subsequent meeting of the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors. Major components of the Work include: Emptying and modifications to existing primary tank. Equalization basin tank. Influent pumping system. 4-tank Bioclere packaged treatment system. Effluent dosing tank and pumping system. Ultraviolet disinfection system and shelter. Site electrical, piping, grading and restoration work.
